Esta película es una biografía no convencional acerca de este gran artista, que tendrá su premier mundial en el Festival de Venecia.
Esta banda de sonido del film incluye 33 nuevas versiones de clásicos de Dylan interpretadas por distintos artistas de la movida norteamericana, todas inspiradas en la película. Se destaca la versión de “All along the watchtower” interpretada por Eddie Vedder, cantante de Pearl Jam
Además incluye como track 34 la versión original interpretada por Dylan de I’m not there que nunca estuvo en ningún disco oficial del artista.
